Doc Doc- there is someone in the room!

Easy to identify problems, harder to identify solutions? Trying is necessary.

With this in mind, PordenoneDocsFest is devoting its customary roundtable discussion with key players in the supply chain to analyzing the potential and criticality of some possible “structural” interventions. From the hypothesis of the creation of a coordinated list (especially for works without a distributor) to the dissemination of innovative tools to share materials, technical and promotional supports, from the verification of the role of institutions in supporting those who program quality documentaries to the real confrontation on the state of the art and market prospects.

Speakers:

Cinzia Masòtina – a member of the Doc/It board, is a member of The Writer’s Desk, where she is active in the enhancement and promotion of films, filmmakers and independent works. Screenwriter, story analyst and story editor for production companies and individual authors, consultant and coordinator of various festivals. She has collaborated and collaborates with, among others, directors: Vittorio Rifranti, Marina Spada, Peter Greenaway, as screenwriter or art director.

film programmer, has curated programs for, among others, Il Cinema Ritrovato, the Pesaro, Rome, and Venice festivals. From 2010 to 2023 he was program manager of the Trento Film Festival. From 2013 to 2018 he was a selector at the Locarno Film Festival, from 2019 to 2023 at the Berlinale. A contributor to Internazionale, he conceived and co-directs CineAgenzia film distribution.
