Gilda Pourjabar

Montreal-based director and editor, originally from Iran. After a BA in Film Production and an MA in Film Studies, she built a solid career in documentary filmmaking as an editor for films and television series. As co-editor of Let There Be Light, which was nominated for the SXSW Grand Jury Award and won the Artistic Vision Award at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, she has won wide recognition. Westoxicated is her first feature-length documentary film.
