The courageous struggle of a group of women to defend the abortion rights of millions: new Texas laws are just one example of U.S. civil rights regression.

Under the weight of strict and ambiguous abortion laws in Texas, three women turn to a lawyer to file a lawsuit against the state: they had to give birth, despite the certain death of their children. As they fight in the courtroom against the attorney general, their dramatic experiences come to light: a fight not only for their own rights, but for those of all women and their families. Zurawski v. Texas shows the devastating consequences of losing access to health care and chronicles the incredible determination of those fighting on the front lines to regain it.
