Trapped between dreams, motherhood and a society that would have her different, the ‘mutant’ transforms her crisis into an act of creative rebellion.

A young filmmaker discovers she is pregnant just as her career takes off. An independent and original film that explores the physical, emotional and professional transformations a woman experiences in a macho society.
The protagonist, estranged from her profession and trapped at home, films everyday reality and its contradictions. Between the instability of her father’s presence and living with three generations of women she experiences her nine months of gestation as a great metamorphosis, through which she creates her new way of being a woman.
