Sara is a teenage girl born into a family of Texan goat ranchers. Her parents have personally educated their twelve children, strictly following the precepts of the Bible. Like her sisters, Sara has been raised to be a devoted woman, submissive to men, yet morally obligated to preserve her physical and spiritual purity until marriage. But when she meets Colby, a young amateur rodeo rider, she begins to question everything, challenging the only way of life she has ever known.
