Being a girl today: the documentary follows Nancy, Sheelan, Selenna, Nina, Paige, and Sinai as they courageously fight for self-determination. Six young women from different countries, united by the desire to love freely and to reclaim autonomy over their bodies, without restrictions or paternalism. Navigating trauma and loss, the protagonists challenge prejudice, aesthetic obsessions, and brutal traditions such as female genital mutilation. A powerful portrait of adolescent resistance: being young and proud even when the world tries to break you.
