NIUDOC – Where Stories Begin!

NIUDOC offers young writers the opportunity to submit original ideas for documentaries through pitching sessions and matchmaking meetings with established producers from the Northeast. Selected projects (from the Triveneto and neighboring Balkan countries), will also participate in an online mentoring program from April to July, culminating in the final presentation at Lago Film Fest. The initiative aims to support the development of new talent in documentary filmmaking by promoting collaboration between emerging authors and industry professionals.

Awards: Selected participants will have the opportunity to win in-kind prizes, including vouchers for equipment rental from Cinema Rental, the making of a DCP from KublaiFilm, and possible distribution on the ZaLab View streaming platform. In addition, one of the projects may receive the #DocsConnect Taskovski Training Award in collaboration with Taskovski Films.
