It’s never too early! Affective education: how movies help us to understand each other and each other
4 April, 11:00, Modotti Hall - CinemazeroTrust, friendship, love, adolescence, bodies, modesty, consent, and gender differences: these are just some of the topics of a serene, respectful, healthy affective and sexual education that is extraordinarily needed today. Cinema in all its forms can confirm or disprove preconceptions, raise questions, reflect doubts and fears of boys and girls, so much so that each viewing always offers an original form of storytelling and endless possibilities for sharing and dialogue. Through a selection of short films, students, students and teachers will be guided by a media educator and psychologist-in-training, together with an expert in affective and sexual education, on a path of analysis aimed at understanding and building relationships, deepening knowledge of self and others, and contributing to the development of personal and social identity.
Speakers
Filippo Maria Nimbi – clinical psychologist, psychosexologist, researcher, popularizer. He collaborates with the Institute of Clinical Sexology in Rome and the European Federation of Sexology. He has participated in SEX on RAI3 and is in charge of the affective and sexual education project “A Luci Accese” by Durex and the municipality of Milan.Manuela Morana – professional with more than 20 years of experience in designing and managing media education activities.
