Call for students 2026
From 25 to 29 March 2026, Pordenone will become the capital of documentary cinema with the Pordenone Docs Fest, one of the leading festivals dedicated to contemporary non-fiction film. University students have a unique opportunity to experience the festival from the inside by joining the Young Jury.
Being part of the Young Jury means stepping behind the scenes of a major international festival and becoming an active participant in a rich programme of screenings, discussions and training, while joining a vibrant international community.
What the Young Jury Experience Offers
Selected participants will have the opportunity to:
- Become official members of the Young Jury, watch the documentaries in competition and cast their vote for the Young Award.
- Meet and engage in dialogue with directors and protagonists of the films, arriving from all over the world.
- Explore the XR section, featuring some of the best documentary experiences in virtual and augmented reality.
- Attend exclusive masterclasses, panels and in-depth talks to discover the dynamics and professions of the audiovisual sector.
- Take part in workshops dedicated to documentary filmmaking.
- Build a professional network by sharing five nights in a hotel with fellow jurors, fostering new friendships and potential collaborations.
- Enhance their CV and receive an official certificate valid for ECTS credit recognition.
Early Bird Promotion
Applicants who submit their application by 20 February can take advantage of the Early Bird promotion, which includes festival accreditation, hotel accommodation and participation in the Young Jury for a reduced fee of 79 euros.
