An immersion in the reality of the Hong Kong protests between Chinese repression and the growing sense of community of the population. Seven different groups of protesters united in one great history of resistance.

March 15, 2019: the battle between Hong Kong and mainland China begins. Less than a month has passed since the government’s proposal for a law on extradition, a law that would effectively break the line of autonomy between the two legal systems, and the heart of the city catches fire. Revolution of Our Times is the story of that fire. Of the gigantic popular revolt that will culminate in the long siege of the Polytechnic and will end up involving two million people. Especially young and very young. A documentary as dry as it is painful, built by the director Kiwi Chow alternating the direct testimonies of the protagonists and the incredible images taken during the processions and demonstrations.
